Pacific Coast and Home

This is a view out of our MH window while "camped" at a California beach.  Sunsets and weather were wonderful.

The drive up the coast was a bit curvy but magnificent as aways.  The heavy winter rains that the area got has caused several slides and the coast highway was down to one lane in many spots.  We could have taken some pictures of our motorhome driving over one lane curvy roads with the wheels hanging off the side but our hands were shaking too badly to get a good shot.

The coast of northern California is one of the most beautiful around.  It ranges from rocky shoreline to white sandy beaches; ranches to mansions, small towns to large cities.  As long as the weather cooperates it is one of most scenic drives you can find.

But the weather did not cooperate and we ran into lots of drizzle and fog.  We couldn't see anything so we came inland where the skys were clear.  Took a 3 day leasurely trip up the center of northern CA and Oregon and arrived home.  The MH is cleaned and put away ready for our next driving adventure.  Now we need to prepare for Sienna's birthday party this weekend and our trip to Norway, Russia and Europe next month.
