Christmas - 2007

The Christmas celebration started on Saturday, 12/22 when Lee's kids (at least those who are close by) came over for and early dinner and presents.

We headed out to the Ocean Shores condo for the weekend to see what damage there might be. When we arrived the power was still out but the fireplace brought the temperature up to about 65 in no time. The power finally came back on about 11:30 Friday night. We had to throught away everything the the frig and freezer but had no other real serious damage.

There was a lot of errosion out at the jetty as you can see from these pictures. The top of this bank is where the road and parking lot was before the storm. Pretty amazing and powerful forces. Thankfully did not have any errosion anywhere near our condo.
